Finally Drake has his birdies! I know they're just a side note in OMWF, but in TRLF his pets play a much larger role. Vanda is his favorite, of course.

Why the pets? Symbolism. Every freiking thing in this story is symbolism!

In many cultures, animals are worshiped as Gods, in others they are the reincarnation of people. In most, animals have an "Other Sight". They are able to see things in both the living and dead world; able to see ghosts and demons. They say wounded animals and/or animals that are lost will come to those who share that connection.

The birds also L-O-A-T-H Eclipse.;) What's that say about him?

Anyway this chapter had some AWESOME pictures. And was just great all around I loved the birds. They are so freaking cool. Things are just getting heated up now. and I hope one of the birds manages to peck Eclipses eyes out. going to chapter 8. [image]

I would normally agree with tryme but I don't want to see the birds getting harmed at all because they made Eclipse angry.

I always liked birds, especially predator birds. I wonder how many replacement robers Eclipse needed for the ones that the birds pecked out.

Well from my experience, animals like my cats or my girlfriends dogs tend to love anybody that I like or my girlfriend likes but if there is somebody over my house that I am not very fond of, my cat know this and tend to sta away from them(My cats are the most human friendly cats I have ever seen). The same does for my girlfriends dogs.

This was a great chapter. I shows Drakes making a connection with another living animal and the animals connecting back to him. This connection brings him happiness and therefore he has turned his hobby into a passion. I think hte whole concept is great!
